Generic domains ‘give a company presence’–Fexon Technology Ltd

Domain name news brought to you by Fexon Technology Ltd

Those looking to purchase a generic domain name have been advised to move quickly as one
expert suggests the number of great addresses available is falling.

According to a spokesman for Fexon Technology Ltd, obtaining a solid generic address can
be invaluable for a business as it gives them a reputable web presence, but warned that
the best of these are being snapped up on a global scale.

Adrian Lawrence, managing director of the company, said that a good domain name "gives
[companies] an online presence associated with whatever name they choose - you can have
the brand connected to the name".

However, he added it was unfortunate that the "whole of the English speaking world" was
currently able to purchase such domains regardless of their location, as this means the
best ones are in high demand.

Discount Domains Ltd has been trading in the domain industry since 2002 and has been
working in the IT sector for 20 years.(Fexon Technology Ltd report)

htaccess redirect

I know anytime htaccess is in the question the thing never gets answered and goes to the bottom with 0 replies ;P

Just hard to find a resource for all questions.

I use this

RewriteEngine On
RewriteRule ^profile.html$ MYLINKHERE.com/page.html[L,R=301]

This is fine but changes the URl of course.
The ladning page url shows in the browser.

I have seen redirects that keeps the original url in the browser, how is this accomplished?

I know affiliates love this….

Duplicate Content Or Not? You decide!

Hi guys… I have a website (Rent Guaranteed New Zealand Investment Property - Earn $100,000+ Per Year | Retirement Income) that promotes "rent guaranteed New Zealand investment property" through my New Zealand based investment property company. This site has a very extensive FAQ section.

I am also in the throws of building several other web sites - (geo-targeting-friendly) - that will be domiciled on servers in "target market countries". For instance, right now I am half way through building: http://www.compasspropertyinvestments.co.uk which will be targeting "New zealand ex-pats as well as local UK property investors to buy property in New Zealand", once again via my New Zealand based property company.

Although the main content of each site will be similar, it will NOT be identical by any means.

However - and this is my question - CAN I DUPLICATE THE FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS CONTENT OF MY EXISTING SITE AND USE IT IN MY YET-TO-BE-COMPLETED "OTHER COUNTRY" SITES?

All other content would be original (compared to the existing site).

I am simply trying not to reinvent the wheel ’so to speak’, if I don’t have to.

Your responses to this would be very gratefully received.

Cheers,

Smeatz
